Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement for using Robotesta. They are written to be read. What Robotesta collects, how it uses AI and how long it keeps data is in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
1. Who these terms are between
Robotesta is provided by Robotesta LLC, New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt (“we”, “us”). Robotesta checks every change your team makes against what it was meant to do, from story to code to release, and shows the result where each person already works.
“You” means the organization that uses Robotesta and each person who uses it for that organization. If you create an organization or accept these terms for one, you confirm you may do so for it. Robotesta is made for businesses and their teams, not for personal or household use.
You accept these terms by ticking the box when you create your account, or by using Robotesta.
2. Early access
Robotesta is in early access. We are opening it to a few teams at a time, and an account can be created only from an invite. During early access:
- features can change, appear or be removed as we learn from teams using it;
- parts of Robotesta may be unavailable, slower or incomplete, and we may pause it for maintenance;
- we may end early access for an organization with notice (see Suspending or ending).
We will tell your organization’s owners before a change that removes something you rely on, where we can.
3. Your account
- Use your own work email, and keep the details of your account accurate.
- An account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in or your password.
- Keep your sign-in safe, and tell us at once if you think someone else used your account.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
4. Your organization and its people
An organization’s owners and admins decide who belongs to it, with which role, which projects each person sees and which tools are connected. The roles are described in the Privacy policy (Who can see it). When you invite someone, you confirm they belong to your team and may see what you share with them.
The organization is responsible for the people it invites and for what they do in Robotesta.
5. Connecting your tools and apps
Robotesta reads the tools you connect, such as Jira, GitHub and Confluence, with the permissions you approve in each tool, and only the projects, repositories and spaces you choose. When you connect a tool, you confirm that your organization may let Robotesta read it under that tool’s own terms.
Robotesta writes into your tools only when a person on your team clicks to do it, as described in the Privacy policy (What Robotesta writes into your tools). You decide what goes back.
When you add an app for Robotesta to explore, you confirm that your organization owns it or may let Robotesta browse it. Robotesta only browses an app: it does not change it, and it does not try to break into it. Use test accounts made for this, never a real customer’s account.
The tools you connect are provided by other companies under your own agreements with them. We are not responsible for them, for changes they make, or for them being unavailable.
6. Your content
Your content stays yours. This includes everything Robotesta reads from your tools and everything your team writes in Robotesta.
You allow us to store, process and display your content only to provide Robotesta to your organization, to keep it secure, and to support you when you ask. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train AI models.
You confirm you may give us the content you connect or upload.
7. Drafts, findings and other AI output
Robotesta uses AI to draft checks, tests, reviews and findings. They show what Robotesta found and the evidence for it, but they can be wrong or incomplete. A person on your team decides what to rely on and what to post, and your team stays responsible for the changes it ships.
What Robotesta drafts for your organization belongs to your organization.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Robotesta to:
- break the law, or anyone’s rights;
- reach data, organizations or systems you are not allowed to reach;
- explore, scan or load an app you do not own or may not test;
- probe, overload or work around Robotesta’s security or limits;
- copy, resell or rebuild Robotesta, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows it;
- upload malicious code, or content you may not share.
To report a security problem you found, write to sam@robotesta.ai instead of testing it further.
9. Fees
Robotesta is free during early access. Before we charge for anything, we will tell your organization’s owners the price in writing, and you choose whether to continue. Nothing is charged without that agreement.
10. Our service and feedback
Robotesta, its software, design and name belong to us. These terms let your organization use it; they do not give you any other right to it.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Robotesta, without owing you anything for them.
11. Suspending or ending
You can stop using Robotesta at any time: disconnect your tools, and ask us to delete your account or your organization’s data, as the Privacy policy describes (Your rights).
We may suspend an account or an organization at once if it breaks these terms, puts Robotesta or other customers at risk, or if the law requires it. Otherwise we will give your organization’s owners at least 30 days’ notice before we end its access, so you can export what you need.
When access ends, we delete or keep data as the Privacy policy says.
12. No warranty
We work to keep Robotesta accurate, secure and available. But during early access it is provided as it is and as available, without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data that could have been restored from a copy;
- our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount your organization paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if it paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with its effective date. If a change matters to how you use Robotesta, we will email your organization’s owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using Robotesta after that date means you accept the new terms.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Egypt. If we disagree, we will first try to settle it by talking. If we cannot, the courts of Egypt decide.
